announces auditions for their

Winter 2009 production of

Veronica’s Room by Ira Levin

The elderly couple was so amazed that Susan looked like the long dead Veronica.  When they ask her to come home and pretend to be Veronica to make a dying woman happy, it seemed like such a small thing to ask.  But suddenly things aren’t going the way Susan expects and she suddenly remembers why her mother told her not to talk to strangers …

Veronica’s Room written by celebrated playwright Ira Levin is a totally absorbing spider’s web entwining fantasy and reality. 

The Village Voice called Veronica’s Room "a neat and elegant thriller."

 Audition Details

Readings of the script will be done from material provided at the audition. 

Cast:

1 Man (Age 20 something)

1 Man (Age 40+)

1 Woman (Age 20 something)

1 Woman (age 40+) 

 Directed by Brian DeToma, VERONICA’S ROOM is scheduled to be performed February 27-28 and March 6-7 at 8 p.m.

Community theater is a rich and fulfilling experience for everyone, young and old.  Since our establishment in the Fall of 2000, the Brewster Theater Company has brought many fine, diverse theatrical experiences to area audiences.
