The Brewster Theater Company presents a holiday favorite for the whole family!

A Staged Reading of Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol

 

Traditional Christmas classic brought to life to warm the heart

and ring in the season --- free of charge!

 

BREWSTER, NY -- The Brewster Theater Company will present a staged reading of the time honored classic A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens.  Members of the Brewster Theater Company will gather to bring Scrooge, Marley, Cratchit, Tiny Tim and all the season’s ghosts to life at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church on December 8th and 9th at 8:00 PM with a holiday reception following each performance.  This special holiday event is presented free of charge, although donations to defray the cost of this and future productions will be gratefully accepted. 

 

 ‘This production allows us to bring a bit of holiday cheer to Putnam County residents and get together with our members and supporters to thank everyone for a terrific 2006 season’,  says Debbie Levin, President, Brewster Theater Company. 

 

Directed by Elizabeth Joyce, the cast includes:

Ø                              Kip Jones of Brookfield, CT as Scrooge

Ø                              Peter Carey of Brewster, NY as Bob Cratchit

Ø                              Fred Maley of Brewster, NY as Jacob Marley

Ø                              Margaret Carey of Brewster, NY as The Ghost of Christmas Past

Ø                              Pat Reese of Bethel, CT as The Ghost of Christmas Present

Ø                              Mark Stein of Brewster, NY as Tiny Tim

 

Supporting characters will be played by:

Audience members are encouraged to bring a canned or boxed food item for donation to the Brewster Community Food Pantry to support the distribution of holiday food baskets.
