The Brewster Theater Company, Inc. announces auditions for their SUMMER 2006 Teens production of Fame, The Musical Book by David De Silva and Jose Fernandez, Lyrics by Jacques Levy, Music by Steve Margoshes Directed by Melissa Jillian
The Brewster Theater Company is conducting auditions for talented teens ages 13-20 for their Summer 2006 production of Fame, The Musical. Local youths with acting, singing and dancing experience will find great performing opportunities in this modern day story about pursuing passions and realizing dreams. CAST Students ages 13 – 20: Principal and chorus roles for 20 – 40 teens Adults: 4 teacher roles Audition Details Dates/Times: Sunday May 7, 2006 2:00 – 4:00 PM Monday, May 8, 2006 7:00 – 9:00 PM (Call backs immediately following. Be prepared to stay an additional hour if called back.) Location: St. Andrew’s Church, Michael Neuner & Prospect St., Brewster *Be sure to verify audition dates and location by calling (845) 598-1621 or visiting our website at www.brewstertheater.org. Please come prepared to sing one up-tempo song and one ballad to demonstrate your vocal range. A dance audition may be required, so bring comfortable clothes in which you can move easily, and bring tap and/or pointe shoes if available. Please bring a picture and resume if you have one along with a list of vacations dates and other possible rehearsal conflicts. The show is presented by special arrangement with Music Theatre International.
